Liverpool's Star Issues Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Says Curtis Jones

Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the team following the controversy from his recent interview.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, please accept my apology.’”

He emphasized that the team's response remained positive. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” Jones added.

He also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
